Thelemetry is designed to give you a private place for honest reflection, careful observation, and serious Work. This page explains the privacy principles behind that experience in straightforward terms.
Your Record is private by design.
Your diary and personal reflections are not public and are not shared with other aspirants. Record content is encrypted when it is stored, and the service is designed to keep your private Work separate from the public study areas of Thelemetry.
Your Record is used to support your Work.
Thelemetry uses the information you choose to record to provide the features you ask for: guidance, reflection, review, and relevant study recommendations. Your private Record is not presented as a public profile, social feed, or community post.
Some guidance uses AI services.
When Thelemetry provides AI-supported guidance or review, the relevant parts of your Record may be processed by the AI services that support those features. This processing is used to provide the requested experience rather than to make your Record public.
Routine administration does not require casual access to your Record.
Thelemetry is designed so that ordinary administration focuses on operating and supporting the service rather than reading aspirants' private journals. Access to private information is intended to remain limited to circumstances where it is genuinely needed to operate, support, secure, or troubleshoot the service.
Use any online Record with care.
No online service can promise absolute secrecy. Thelemetry is built to respect the private nature of magical work, but you should still use your judgment about what personal information you choose to place in an online Record.
Thelemetry is currently in beta. This notice may be refined as the service develops so that it continues to describe our privacy practices clearly and accurately.
